The new textile, Type.911, allowed us to completely reengineer the cut, reducing the seam count and wrinkles while micro-adjusting fit across the legs and waist. It also let us eliminate the rollBar bib strap design, because Type.911 is more elastic and more compressive than the Type.441 used on the previous generation. Rather than merely suspended from bib straps, the S11 shorts envelope the rider’s body in omnidirectional, body-mapped stability. The new RS S11 insert’s top sheet is both softer against the body and more durable for washing, and it has an improved odor control treatment while maintaining its predecessor’s cooling airflow, micro-shock damping, and low-volume, lightweight profile.
